Summary

The purpose of this project was to develop a citizen-science based approach to tracking noise pollution in Calle Loíza in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Guided by a thorough literature review and interviews with residents and noise pollution advocacy groups, we designed a website for community members to upload decibel data and subjective noise related data. The website also includes pages for resources regarding noise pollution, noise reduction, and measuring noise.
